Alan delivered a comprehensive sermon on the path of spiritual transformation, emphasizing that true Christian growth requires dying to the outward self and developing the inner man through responsibility and obedience rather than relying solely on prayer or spiritual experiences.
He explained that many Christians get stuck in religious loops, using prayer time as a way to avoid facing personal responsibility, while the true path requires taking responsibility for one's calling, family, and spiritual growth before seeking God's help. Alan used the biblical story of the tribes of Reuben and Gad who wanted to stay on the peaceful side of the Jordan rather than facing the giants in the Promised Land to illustrate how people often avoid difficult spiritual growth through religion and compromise.
He stressed that transformation requires facing one's giants, taking responsibility for fulfilling God's calling, and using prayer and worship as tools to help overcome challenges rather than as replacements for personal action.

In this message, Deborah teaches on strongholds and how they begin in the inward man. She connects the subject to Genesis, saying that after Adam and Eve disobey, human life becomes governed by outward information from what is seen, heard, touched, and felt.
She explains that strongholds can form through repeated messages, trauma, culture, insecurity, prejudice, or wrong teaching. She gives examples from family life, childhood experiences, and relationships to show how attitudes and patterns can take root over time.
Deborah then turns to 2 Corinthians 10 and says spiritual warfare is not fought with natural weapons. She describes strongholds as thoughts, imaginations, and mental systems that must be brought into captivity to Christ. She also notes that prayer in the Holy Spirit brings hidden issues to the surface.
She uses Philippians 4:8 and James 3:17 to show the kind of thinking God wants: true, pure, peaceable, gentle, merciful, and full of good fruit. She says believers need to keep good company, stay accountable, and avoid situations that reinforce weakness.
The message closes by encouraging listeners not to quit when strongholds are exposed. Deborah says God deals with people where they are, one stronghold at a time, and that the Holy Spirit, the Word, worship, and prayer provide the help needed to grow and walk in freedom.

In this service, Pastor Alan focuses on the spiritual transformation of believers through their inner man and the importance of praying in tongues. He delivered a message explaining the biblical distinction between the inner man, which is reborn at salvation, and the outward man, which remains in a state of death until the resurrection. He emphasized that true spiritual growth and understanding come from the Holy Spirit teaching the inner man through praying in tongues, rather than relying on human wisdom or carnal understanding. The teaching used scriptural references, particularly from Romans and Ephesians, to illustrate the process of spiritual maturity and the struggle between the flesh and the spirit.

In this message, Pastor Alan teaches on the walk of the Spirit and the call to go deeper into God. He contrasts the inner man, born of God, with the outward man, and says the outward man often settles for religion. He explains that growth requires the death of the flesh and that prayer, worship, and tongues are means of strengthening the inner man.
He stresses that believers cannot force growth in others. Instead, they should keep moving forward and let the Holy Spirit work in family members, friends, and church members. He applies this to marriage, saying spouses should stay faithful to their covenant and be the best husband or wife they can be, even if the other person is less hungry for God.
Pastor Alan also speaks about parenting, work, and daily responsibility. He says believers should be excellent in the roles they have already accepted and should not use spirituality as an excuse to neglect family or work. He emphasizes submission, trusting God with promotion, provision, and timing rather than striving to make things happen.
He reads 1 Corinthians 7:10-16 and uses it to support remaining faithful in marriages where one is wanting to go deeper in God than the other. He closes by encouraging the congregation to keep pursuing God without shortcuts, to trust God with loved ones, and to remain hungry for a deeper walk with Him.

Deborah reads Hebrews 6:10 and says that the local group’s labor, service, and practical help have not gone unnoticed by God. She emphasizes that even small acts of service, prayer, and hospitality carry eternal weight and are part of what God is doing.
Using Colossians 2:1-7, she says that those who are present and those who are at home are still joined together in spirit. She explains that God is strategically knitting the group together, and that everyone has a place in the body even when they are not physically together.
From Colossians 1:9-14 and Proverbs 8, she teaches that believers need the knowledge of God’s will and the wisdom that comes through the Holy Ghost. She contrasts wisdom with the flesh, saying that wisdom speaks truth, brings discernment, and offers lasting riches.
Using Ephesians 4:11-16, she says every believer has a part in the body and must be trained by the Holy Ghost to walk in that calling. She encourages the group to keep praying in the Spirit, keep growing, and let God make each person fit where they belong.

The message focuses on 2 Corinthians 4 and 3. The speaker explains that salvation is like light entering darkness: darkness cannot fix itself, but light removes it. In the same way, a person born in darkness needs a new source, and that source is Christ.
The speaker compares the old covenant and the new covenant through the faces of Moses and Jesus. The old covenant is described as a ministry of death and condemnation, while the new covenant is called the ministry of the Spirit and righteousness. Moses’ veiled face is used to show that the old glory was passing away, while the glory in Christ remains.
The message turns to the believer’s inward renewal. The speaker says the Spirit of the Lord brings liberty, and that the inward man is renewed day by day even while the outward man perishes. The listener is encouraged to reject old desires, past wounds, and any claim that the old nature still defines them.
The final section emphasizes 2 Corinthians 3:18 and the call to be transformed into the image of Christ. The speaker says believers already carry Christ’s nature within and are to grow from glory to glory through prayer, worship, and Scripture. The main ministry of every believer is presented as Christ being formed in them.

(This Message was preached via Zoom, at the Family Prayer Centre in St. Thomas. Some Brazilian translation may be heard throughout the call, but efforts have been made to mute them. Also, some excessive pausing and odd timings are due to the nature of Pastor Alan preaching and waiting for the subsequent interpretation).
In today’s teaching, Pastor Alan explores the Holy Spirit and the meaning of speaking in tongues, beginning with a distinction between church callings and spiritual gifts. He points to 1 Corinthians 12 and says the questions about apostles, prophets, healings, tongues, and interpretation are rhetorical, showing that not everyone has the same calling or public gift.
He then explains that there are different uses of tongues. One is a personal prayer language for believers, which he says is for everyone and is used in private prayer. Another is tongues for intercession, tongues for the unbeliever, and tongues in a church service, which he says must be accompanied by interpretation.
A major emphasis is the difference between private prayer and public ministry. He says personal tongues edify the individual, while prophecy edifies the church. He reads 1 Corinthians 14 and explains that in a public gathering, prophecy is more useful unless tongues are interpreted.
He also teaches that praying in tongues is a discipline and a way for the Holy Spirit to teach the inner person. He encourages listeners to set aside daily time, even 15 minutes, to pray in tongues consistently. He says this builds knowledge, revelation, and understanding over time, even when the results are not immediately felt.

In today’s sermon, Pastor Alan teaches on the work of the Holy Spirit in the inner man. He says the goal is not mainly an outside experience, but a real inward change through prayer in tongues, the Word, and learning to hear God from within.
He begins by speaking about church life, family, and the value of fellowship, but quickly moves to the importance of listening to God rather than relying only on church systems or outward direction. He says the Holy Spirit abides in believers forever and works differently in those who are born again.
He explains that many Christians look for repeated experiences, dramatic moments, or outside confirmation, but that the deeper work of God happens on the inside. Prayer in the Spirit, he says, establishes God’s will within a person and helps guide decisions without panic or pressure.
He shares examples from his own life, including choosing not to take an opportunity in Vancouver, and later walking through a stroke. He says God does not view struggle as failure and that believers should keep moving forward even while they are weak.
Pastor Alan also teaches from 2 Timothy 2:20–21, saying believers become vessels of honor by allowing God to change their inner nature, not merely by cleaning up outward behavior.

In this message, Alan Taylor teaches on trusting God instead of trying to force outcomes. He says believers often look for visible proof, but faith keeps its eyes on God alone. He also says that many problems in the church come from relying on human ability in the name of God.
Alan reflects on false advertising in ministry and says people should not promise what they cannot prove. He uses healing meetings as an example and says integrity matters because once trust is broken, a person is no longer a voice in someone’s life. He says it is better to be honest about where someone is spiritually than to pretend they are somewhere they are not.
He turns to Romans 12:2–3 and teaches that there are levels of God’s will: good, acceptable, and perfect. He says each believer receives a measure of faith to fulfill a specific calling, and that all parts of the body matter.
Alan contrasts the measure of faith with the “more excellent way” of 1 Corinthians 13. He says chapter 12 describes gifts tied to calling, while chapter 13 points to agape love as the greater path. He teaches that the goal is not simply power or ministry success, but becoming someone through whom God can work in a fuller way.

In this message, Pastor Alan teaches on the difference between outward behavior and inward spiritual growth.
He says people often want to be anointed without facing weakness, but God works through honesty, not pretense. The goal is not to look spiritual on the outside, but to let the Holy Spirit develop the inner life. He stresses that growth in the inner man is real progress, even if it seems small.
He also says ministry should be done with a servant’s heart, not for status, promotion, or attention. He warns against religion that feeds self-worth or uses ministry to meet personal needs. Every person’s role matters, whether visible or hidden, and no calling is more important than another.
A major theme is the distinction between the new nature and the outward man. He describes the new nature as a seed of righteousness placed in believers at new birth, while the outward man remains carnal. That seed must be fed through prayer in tongues, worship, and Scripture so Christ’s character can mature in the inner person.
He argues that the authority of the believer is not simply faith or the name of Jesus alone, but agape love formed in maturity. He connects this to Galatians 5: the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. He says miracles come through the Holy Spirit, but the Spirit works through Christ formed in the believer.
He closes by urging continued prayer, accountability, and patience with the growth process. He says believers should not despair over where they are now, but stay faithful and let the Holy Spirit bring them forward.
